The Central Valley Presidents Scholarship Program

In March, 2008, the Consortium was awarded $65,000 by the College Access Foundation to launch this prestigious scholarship program. Criteria included being a high school senior, of Hispanic descent, 2.5 GPA, and admitted to a Central Valley college or university. In July, the CVHEC President, Frank Gornick. Executive Director, Cheri Cruz, and Katie Tremper, College Access Foundation, acknowledged the students with a special ceremony at the Hispanic Youth Symposium.
