Central Valley Visit from Whitehouse-Education Reform

FRESNO, CA (August 21, 2009) – Juan Sepulveda, director of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans, was in Fresno this morning to host a town hall style “community conversation” to gain public input for the new executive order for President Obama. The meeting was facilitated by the Central Valley Higher Education Consortium in partnership with UC Merced, State Center Community Collgee District and the Hispanic College Fund.
