Investing in higher education is part of a long-term solution to the problems of unemployment, poverty, crime, and lack of economic development. The presidents and chancellors who lead the Central Valley Higher Education Consortium strongly believe that that by building human capital via higher education, the Central Valley will emerge as a sustainable, healthy and strong region.
